Jose Mourinho has confirmed to Football London that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is not injured.
Tottenham are set to take on Chelsea later this evening, and there were some fears that Ndombele could miss out.
The French midfielder appeared to pick up a knock in Tottenham’s last game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
But Mourinho has hinted that Ndombele will start this evening, as he is not suffering with any long-term injury.
Mourinho said: “He’s okay. He had really a knock but no problem to play tomorrow.”
That looks like a major boost for Spurs going into tonight’s game.

Tottenham have put a lot of creativity responsibility on Ndombele this season, with the Frenchman becoming one of Mourinho’s most trusted players.
With Harry Kane out, Ndombele may actually now be one of Tottenham’s most dangerous attacking threats, alongside Heung-Min Son.
If Spurs can win tonight then they will force their way back into top four contention, but another defeat would leave serious questions being asked of Mourinho.
