Juan Foyth has been speaking to 90min about all things Tottenham, from what José Mourinho is really like, to his relationship with Erik Lamela.
On that latter note, the £8 million centre-back shared something interesting about how his fellow Argentine acts at Hotspur Way.
Speaking to 90min, Foyth said: “[He is] very hard. When he gets angry, he goes looking for it like crazy. He has offered to fight me a couple of times! Obviously in training and that, heat of the moment, I’m not the only one.”
This doesn’t surprise us one bit.
Just by watching him play, you can tell that Lamela is a bit of a hothead.
He’s received 58 yellow cards across his career in 356 games, which is quite a lot for an attacker to amass.

Most recently, we saw Lamela receive a red card in the north London derby for smacking Kieran Tierney in the face – on this occasion, however, it did look accidental.
We all know what the 29-year-old is like on the pitch, but it’s very interesting to hear that he’s basically the same behind closed doors.
To hear that Lamela has been offering his teammates out for fights at Hotspur Way is, quite frankly, ridiculous.

Surely he can keep a lid on it when his own teammates are involved?
There’s nothing wrong with taking a bit of fight and desire out into a competitive game with you.
However, it just seems foolish to carry that energy into training, and allow it to boil over to the point where a fight might take place.
