Some Liverpool fans are starting to predict that Rafael Benitez could arrive at Tottenham Hotspur soon.

Tottenham parted company with Jose Mourinho last month, but have still not found a replacement for him.

There appears to be no outstanding candidate to takeover the Tottenham job, and Benitez has now been linked.

Intriguingly, the former Liverpool boss suggested to Sky Sports that staying in the Premier League is now his priority for his next job.

And many Reds supporters have suggested that a move to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium is now looking likely.

Benitez has a proven track record of success in the Premier League but the major concern for Tottenham would surely be over his style of play.

The Spaniard is famed for his defensive style, but his sides haven’t always been the most entertaining to watch.

That could be a worry for some Tottenham supporters, who heavily criticised Jose Mourinho’s approach.

The noises come out of Spurs suggest that they are looking for a new attack minded-manager.

And Benitez doesn’t seem to be the ideal fit for that criteria, despite his apparent desire to stay in England.
