Some Arsenal fans on social media have convinced themselves that Alexandre Lacazette is staying at the club after seeing his new boots.

Indeed, supporters of the London club believe that Lacazette has sent a message that he wants to stay as the phrase ‘trust the process’ is on his new boots.

Lacazette has consistently been linked with a move away from the Gunners, but Arsenal fans think that this is a sign that he’s saying at the club.

Could this be a cryptic message about Lacazette’s future at Arsenal? Possibly, but it’s a bit of a stretch to believe that a multi-million-pound footballer would send a message about his career on a pair of boots that have Minions printed on them.

Indeed, this is more likely an homage to the Philadelphia 76ers, an NBA team that have used that slogan in recent years due to the number of young players they have coming through.

Lacazette is known to be an NBA fan, and he was even spotted alongside Nacho Monreal and Antoine Griezmann at a 76ers game a few years ago, so it’s likely that this is a basketball-related design, rather than a message about his future.

However, that hasn’t stopped Arsenal fans from coming up with their own theories, and here’s what they’re saying on social media…
