Paul Scholes told Webby & O’Neill‘s YouTube channel that Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, is ‘not going to leave’ the club.

A lot has been said about Kane’s future at Spurs and whether he needs to leave the North London outfit in order to win trophies.

At the peak of his powers, Kane has been one of the standout performers of the Premier League this season, even though his own team have struggled.

But Scholes shares that he ‘just gets the impression’ that Kane won’t leave, as he stated that he would prefer his old club signing Dortmund superstar, Erling Haaland over the Tottenham man.

“If you sign him (Haaland) now you have ten years of him,” said Scholes. “With Harry Kane, in the peak of his career, but you are talking maybe two or three years as a top-class striker.

“When you get to 31 or 32, you are probably losing your legs a little bit. You are probably starting to drop deep. Like he’s starting to do – if you are looking towards the future then Haaland has to be the one.

“If he (Kane) wants to go then there are going to be clubs who are going to want him. He’s a brilliant goalscorer and a brilliant centre-forward.

“I just get the impression that he’s not going to leave. I don’t know why. I just get the feeling he’s going to be at Tottenham until he finishes.”

It’s going to take a lot to prise Kane away from Spurs because it’s the club he supports and then you have to get past a certain Daniel Levy.

Whether Spurs win the League Cup this season or not, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kane donning his current colours next season.

Whilst many doubt his chances of winning a trophy or trophies with Spurs, the best chance that they have is with the England captain in the side.
