
Some Celtic supporters are convinced that Dean Henderson won’t be coming to the Bhoys.
Celtic are ‘an option’ for the Manchester United goalkeeper in January, months after a move to Aston Villa collapsed, according to 90min.
Henderson remained at United, where he has played just three times this season, while Villa spent big on Emiliano Martinez from Arsenal.
Celtic also strengthened their options between the sticks, bringing in Vasilis Barkas from AEK Athens.
But it could be argued that Barkas has yet to fully convince at Celtic Park.
Meanwhile, it is claimed that Henderson has been told by the England manager Gareth Southgate that he cannot be number one at next summer’s European Championship if he is not playing regular first-team football.
And the 23-year-old’s is therefore said to be ‘desperate to leave’ when the transfer window reopens, with his representatives ‘actively working hard’ to find him a new team.

With Aston Villa seemingly ruled out, likewise, Henderson’s former loan club Sheffield United, it is suggested that a move abroad or to Scotland could be on the cards.
And the website adds that an 18-month deal may be sanctioned by Manchester United.
Though, with Henderson’s new wages rumoured to be around the £100,000-a-week mark, Celtic would likely require some subsidisation from United.
