Arsenal fans on Twitter are annoyed at the fact that Thomas Partey has received a late call up by Ghana.
Goal are reporting that the Ghanian FA have struck a deal with Arsenal which allows Partey to be called up and be exempt from having to quarantine for ten days.
Given Partey’s injury record at Arsenal, added with this late call, the fans are fearing the worst.
After the international break is over, Arsenal will lock horns with Liverpool and they will need their midfield general available if they are to earn a positive result.
Arsenal fans were hoping Partey would stay put in North London whilst domestic football hibernates, but that’s not going to be the case.
If the £45m star (Sky Sports) returns from representing his home country with any sort of knock then it’s not going to be met with a pleasant reaction from the Arsenal fans.
So, the Emirates faithful are hoping Partey can pull through and return at 100% next week because Arsenal cannot afford any issues landing on their doorstep now.
