Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after noticing something in a photo of Sadio Mané during Nike’s kit launch for the 2021/22 season.

A screenshot from Liverpool’s video of the launch showed Mané hilariously wearing the shorts around the wrong way!

What makes the photo even funnier are the subtitles attached.

The 73-cap Senegal international appears to have told the club that it was a ‘tough day’ while filming the launch of Liverpool’s new home shirt.

Evidently, it was a tough day for Liverpool’s No.10, as he couldn’t even put his shorts on properly!

We’ll give Mané the benefit of the doubt – it’s been a difficult few weeks for the £34 million man.

The former Southampton man has scored just two goals in his last 13 appearances across all competitions.

For a man who’s so usually prolific in front of goal, that is concerning.

However, Mané has at least contributed in Liverpool’s last two wins, providing assists in the victories over Manchester United and West Brom.

In truth, it hasn’t been an awful season for him.

In all competitions, Mané has scored 14 goals while also recording nine assists, which is pretty decent.

Because he’s set such astronomical standards for himself in the past, we all seem to think he’s having a poor campaign.

Let’s just hope Nike didn’t take all of their photos while Mané had the shorts on backwards!

If they did, he’ll probably have to do the shoot all over again – now that would certainly be tough.

Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about his slip-up…
