Joe Cole has stated that Arsenal transfer target Michael Olise is a ‘real talent’, as he told ITV Sport.
The former England player added that Olise is like his Crystal Palace teammate, Wilfried Zaha, in the sense that he can do ‘anything’ out on the pitch.
At 20-years-old, Olise has the footballing world at his feet and is balling it out on one of football’s biggest stages – the Premier League.
That’s why clubs like Arsenal, who are pushing for Champions League football, are keen to sign the London-born player, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Whilst Olise could have repped England on the international set-up, he has opted to go down the road of playing for France, as Cole raved about the young kid’s talents.
“He can do anything,” said Cole. “I think Palace have been very astute with the players they have brought in. They fit the culture of the club.
“He can do what Patrick (Vieira) wants him to do. Drive with the ball and go both ways.
“When he cuts in on that left foot, it’s a wand. He’s an exciting player, like Zaha, who gets this crowd on their feet and they love watching him play.
“Olise can do anything he wants in the game. He is a real, real talent.”

With Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira in the Palace dugout, he is going to be keen to bat away any interest in his star players this summer.
It’s a credit to the club’s recruitment that there are so many eyes on players like Olise, who is, at his current rate, destined for the top.
That’s where Arsenal want to head back to and they are currently showing signs that they are getting back to their best.
Securing Champions League football at the end of the season will help, so whilst a club like Arsenal is a hard proposition to turn down anyway, it’s going to be even tougher if they are playing in one of the biggest club competitions in the world to boot.
