
Liverpool vs Manchester City was undoubtedly one of the best games we’ll see in the Premier League this season.
While Mohamed Salah and Phil Foden’s goals were the standout highlights of the game, there was one moment that flew a little bit under the radar until the club’s official Twitter account re-shared the clip.
In the second half, Andy Robertson failed with a cross that was cleared with ease, but as ever, Robertson was unwilling to give up, chasing the ball down, picking Rodri’s pocket and winning a free-kick in a dangerous area.
Unfortunately, Mohamed Salah couldn’t put the free-kick into the back of the net, but the determination and tenacity Robertson showed to win the foul was incredible.
Liverpool shared a clip of this moment on social media and supporters were full of praise for Robertson for the fight he showed after his failed cross.
