Tino Livramento and Thierry Small have raved about Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey as one of the best youngsters around, as they told Rising Ballers.
The Southampton duo agreed that Ramsey is ‘killing it’ for his boyhood club this season.
Whilst Ramsey has been on the scene for a number of years now at Villa, it’s during this campaign where he has really smashed his way into the first team.
The 20-year-old is carrying the ball for fun and showcasing his goalscoring touch under the stewardship of a modern-day great in Steven Gerrard.
Both Livramento and Small, who could class themselves as top rising talents also, shared their thoughts on the Villa man when asked about the youngsters they are rating now.
“Jacob Ramsey at Aston Villa would be the first to come to mind,” both players agreed.
Smalls then added: “He is killing it. There are a few.”
Livramento added: “Conor Gallagher as well. There are a few youngsters that have established themselves.
“But the main two, for me, obviously Armando (Broja), but he plays for Southampton. I would say, Ramsey and Conor Gallagher, for me.”

Livramento is a first-team regular at Southampton and he will be expected to face off against Ramsey at the weekend.
The in-form Saints will travel to Villa Park hoping to continue their run and stop the attacking threat the Midlands side have at their disposal.
After a barren run of results and performances, Villa recorded a deserved 2-0 win at Brighton over the weekend and they will be hoping to use that as a springboard going forward.
Ramsey, in recent months, has been the star of the show for Villa and he will be hoping to shine again in front of his own supporters on Saturday.
