Some Aston Villa fans on social media are getting very excited after Goal reported that they want to sign Chelsea defender Valentino Livramento.
The 18-year-old is also reportedly wanted by AC Milan, and you don’t attract interest from a club of that calibre unless you’ve got something about you.
The fact that Livramento is on Chelsea’s books is indicative of the talent he possesses, and we’ve seen in recent years that the London club are willing to let talented young players leave the club.
One example of such a player is Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey, who is also a right-back, and if Livramento turns out to be half as good as Lamptey, Villa will have a real gem on their hands.
Villa supporters are seemingly very happy with the idea of signing Livramento.
The Midlands outfit have one of the most talented young groups in the country, having just won the FA Youth Cup, and adding Livramento to the mix would just be another string to their bow.
