Martin Odegaard has praised Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta while speaking to VG in Norway.
Odegaard has made a major impact since arriving at Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid.
And the playmaker, who has excelled in recent weeks, says that he has been blown away by Arteta’s management since his arrival.
‘Very good. He is incredible,” he said. “I have a lot to learn from him. ‘I just need to “sharpen my ears” and pay attention. He is fantastic.’”
Odegaard’s positive words about Arteta will likely encourage Arsenal supporters that a permanent deal could be possible.
The Gunners are thought to be exploring a deal to bring Odegaard to the club, with EuroSport suggesting he would cost around £40 million.

If Arsenal can land him on a long-term deal he could yet be a wonderful signing.
Odegaard has already proven capable of dictating Arsenal’s attacks, with his play in the final third against West Ham United absolutely devastating.
At the age of 22, Odegaard still has years ahead of him, and even at £40 million he looks as if he could be a bargain buy.
