Has William Saliba finally arrived back at Arsenal? It looks that way, going by one training photo of Wednesday’s session.
The Gunners splurged £27 million on the French centre-back last summer, before loaning him back to Saint-Etienne for the 2019-20 campaign.
Saliba and Arsenal tried to extend the loan to include last week’s French Cup final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain, but no agreement was struck.
This was known well in advance of the final after the 19-year-old posted a photo of him and his agent in London, enjoying a bite to eat.
But it seems that he has resumed training with his parent club.
One photographer at Arsenal’s training ground on Wednesday took a snap of Ceballos taking a corner but, in the box, stood the imposing, blonde-haired figure of somebody who resembles the big teenager.

Arsenal finish off their season on Saturday with an FA Cup final against Chelsea, but Saliba is ineligible to face the Blues.
