Stephen Warnock has stated that Aston Villa and Arsenal transfer target, Yves Bissouma, has ‘everything’ to his game, as he told the Football Show on Sky Sports.
The former left-back suggested that Brighton will find it difficult to keep hold of the 25-year-old given his recent performances.
Bissouma was suspended for Brighton’s trip to Manchester City on Wednesday night, but over the weekend, he proved why there are so many clubs chasing his talents.
Graham Potter’s side rocked the boat in the race to finish in the Premier League’s top-four by beating Tottenham – one week after doing the same to Arsenal.
Nonetheless, this is what Warnock had to say about Bissouma and how he is an ‘outstanding talent’.
“This guy I am going to highlight, Yves Bissouma, what a player and what a performance,” said Warnock.
“He has got everything to his game and this performance is outstanding. He’s quick into the tackle. Wins it back, then Brighton can start to play.
“He is an outstanding talent. I am sorry Brighton fans, but they will be desperate to keep hold of this guy because he is unbelievable when he plays at this level, he is so difficult to play against.”
There are suggestions that Bissouma is keen on leaving the Amex Stadium this summer, as reported by 90 min.
It’s been claimed that Bissouma has requested a transfer, with both Villa and Arsenal plotting to bid for the £50 million player.
For Arsenal, even if they don’t secure a top-four finish, they will feel they would have the upper hand on Villa in securing Bissouma’s signature because they have European football.
Whilst those in the Midlands have the Steven Gerrard pull and the money to throw at the top stars, they are going to finish mid-table, so Bissouma may well need to be persuaded, in that regard.
