Ian Wright has raved about reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham on ITV Sport.
Bellingham to Liverpool?
The Daily Star claim that Liverpool are leading the race to land the £100 million England international (EuroSport).
Bellingham has made quite the splash in Germany since moving to Borussia Dortmund.
The 18-year-old is now widely regarded as one of the best prospects in world football and it seems that Jurgen Klopp’s side could be willing to pay big to land him.
Bellingham started for England earlier this week, as he helped the Three Lions to a 10-0 win over San Marino.
And Wright was left purring over the youngster’s ability in the studio.
“He wears number 22 because he’s a number 10, and eight and a four,” Wright said.
“The fact is he has got everything.
“He’ll run a game like this. But when he’s playing for Dortmund and playing every single game, [you see] the maturity of him.
“His game is continually improving and as long as he can keep himself right and fit you have to say in a year’s time he’s probably a starter for England.”

The ideal addition
Wright’s comments show why Bellingham could be the perfect addition to Liverpool’s squad.
The departure of Georginio Wijnaldum means that Liverpool now lack a complete midfielder.
Wijnaldum’s strength was his ability to get forward and back with great success and Bellingham has similar traits.
There is an argument to suggest that Bellingham’s ceiling is far higher than Wijnaldum’s ever was though.
His technical efficiency and physical attributes completely belie his tender years, and if Liverpool were to break their transfer record on him he could be a very shrewd investment.
