Newcastle manager Eddie Howe raves about Lewis Miley
So far, the Magpies have simply been associated with being savvy operators in the transfer market.
While a bulk of the focus surrounding Howe and Co. is on the signings they could make if they qualify for Champions League football next season, there isn’t much discussion about the potential youngsters they could promote.
It seems like Lewis Miley could certainly be one, as Eddie Howe believes he could help Newcastle save a pretty penny due to how much potential he has.

“I’m in a difficult position because I can only promote players through the Academy that I feel are good enough to play in the Premier League and that’s such a difficult journey to go on”, he told club media.
However, Newcastle tactician Eddie Howe backs attacking midfielder Lewis Miley to be a top player, saying, “Lewis has got an amazing chance to do that. At his age, he’s got all the attributes and now he needs a little bit of luck and to continue on the path he’s on with the great work he’s already done.
“I’d love there to be a few more. It’ll save us a fortune in the transfer market if we can produce more on a consistent basis.”
