Many Liverpool fans feel that Naby Keita is finished at Anfield now, after he was hooked off in the first-half against Real Madrid last night.
Keita was finally handed a rare start, but with Liverpool struggling to find a foot hold, Klopp quickly decided that he could no longer keep the Guinean on.
The Liverpool boss opted to bring Thiago on to the pitch just after the 40 minute mark and went on to confirm that the decision was tactical at full-time.
There are now real concerns about Keita’s future at Liverpool, and many Reds fans think this could be the final straw.
It is indeed difficult to see just where Keita’s next Liverpool chance is coming.
The central midfielder has been working so hard to come back from injury and Klopp even said that he had impressed in training recently.
But he is now surely unlikely to be trusted to start again for some time.
And there will almost certainly be question marks over his future, given his lack of consistent impact since his arrival in Liverpool
