Jamie Redknapp has warned England that Leeds United playmaker Brenden Aaronson is going to be a ‘danger’ in the colours of the USA at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The USA are in the same group as Gareth Southgate’s England – Group B – and they will lock horns with the Three Lions on November 25.
On paper, England should see this game through, but just like the 2010 World Cup, anything can happen on the big stage, so always expect the unexpected.

If the Americans are to do the unthinkable and cause an upset, then Aaronson, who moved to Leeds for £25 million in the summer (Sky Sports), will have to play a key role.
Ahead of that showdown, which will be in ten days’ time, Redknapp stated that he is a fan of Aaronson, as he told Sky Sports Premier League (13/11/22 at 7:15 pm).
“I like him,” said Redknapp. “Very good technically. He is the sort of player we have to keep an eye on. Defensively he gets into pockets. He picks the ball up and slides people in.
“He is going to be a danger. They are going to have great energy, the US and I think it also depends on how the other games are going to go.
“If you start well and beat Iran, then that US game is one you will be looking forward to. If not, then the pressure will certainly be on England. The USA will run and chase and have a great energy about them.”

CAN THE USA SPRING A SURPRISE?
A Clint Dempsey goal at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa – via Rob Green – ensured the USA secured a point against an England side boasting the likes of Steven Gerrard, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard.
So, there is no reason why they can’t spring another surprise here.
In truth, a lot will depend on what the duo do during their opening games, if England beat Iran, then they will see out the USA, no problem days later.
Equally, if the Americans were to get beaten by Wales, then there will be serious pressure on their shoulders going into that England game.
