The Ibrox supremo has brought a certain level of respectability back to Rangers’ Scottish Premiership campaign.
Gers ace Bruno Alves spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s clash with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership tomorrow, and offered high words of praise for Graeme Murty, suggesting that 43-year-old has done a good job thus far, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.
Rangers currently sit in second position in the table, seven points adrift of league leaders Celtic, although they have played a game more than the Hoops.
Murty deserves great credit for stabilising the Glasgow giants, throughout what has been a tumultuous time, both on and off the pitch.
Alves himself has endured a tough time in Scotland, since moving to Ibrox in the summer, although it seems as though he is becoming more accustomed to the blood and thunder of the Scottish game.
And the Portuguese spoke to reporters, highlighting how Murty deserves praise for the job he has done at Rangers, during his spell as caretaker manager, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account:
“Graeme Murty is giving his best, he is trying to change the team and we are training well. He is getting results and improving the team. A job well done so far.”
Alves and Rangers will be desperate for all three points at home to Ross County tomorrow, and could close the gap on Celtic, with Brendan Rodgers’ side facing a tricky looking trip to Hibernian.
