Some West Ham fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that they’re the team most interested in a move for Lille’s Sven Botman.
Botman was one of the stars of Ligue 1 last term as he helped lead Lille to a league title, and he’s caught the eye of some massive clubs with his performances in France.
Indeed, Liverpool and Tottenham have previously been linked, but now it seems as though the Hammers are the side most interested in a move for the Dutch international.
Botman is undoubtedly a quality player, he’s even played for the Dutch national team and with the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs De Ligt and Stefan De Vrij competing for the centre-back spots in that side, that just shows you how talented he is.
As you can imagine, West Ham fans were excited by the idea of signing Botman, so much so that some supporters couldn’t believe that they were even being linked.
Some supporters may feel as though this is an ambitious target, but he’s one that West Ham are reportedly keen on, and that has thrilled the fanbase.
