Pat Nevin has noted on BBC Sport that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was not happy in the second half against Southampton at Anfield in the Premier League game between the two sides on Saturday afternoon.
The former Chelsea star has said that Liverpool star Salah was not happy that he was not given a penalty in the second half against the Saints.
The Egypt international forward was through one-on-one with Southampton goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu.
Salah went all the way into the box, and just as he took his shot, he came under a challenge.
The former Chelsea player wanted a penalty, and there was a VAR check as well.
However, Salah did not get what he wanted.
Former Chelsea star Nevin was following the match for BBC Sport, and he noticed that Salah was furious with the decision.

Nevin said: “Salah doesn’t go down, he stays on his feet. Eventually he gets half a shot off and says well give me my penalty now. Because he hasn’t gone down, he doesn’t get it. He’s furious and I kind of understand.”

In our view, Liverpool have deservedly picked up all three points against Southampton at Anfield in the Premier League today.
The Reds were good value for their 3-1 win.
Roberto Firmino scored one goal, and Darwin Nunez found the back of the net twice.
