Liam Cooper has told BBC Sport that Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has really impressed him in training recently.
Bamford scored his 12th goal of the season for Leeds last night, as they beat Crystal Palace.
The £7 million Whites forward (Sky) was sharp, as he followed in a shot from Raphinha.
And Cooper feels that Bamford’s level has even gone up in training, as he has been so impressive of late.
“[Patrick Bamford] is flying,” Cooper said. “We see it every day in training. He works so hard for the team, he gives us a focal point and hopefully he can continue to do what he is doing as he has been unbelievable for us.”
Bamford has taken on board great praise this season, as he has proven once and for all that he can play at the very top level.
There were some concerns that Bamford may not have the finishing ability to make a success of his time in the Premier League when Leeds first earned promotion, but his doubters have been quickly silenced.

Bamford now sits among the top scorers in the division, and he is currently enjoying the best spell of form in his entire career.
Leeds’ win over Palace has lifted them up to 10th in the Premier League table, which represents great progress for Marcelo Bielsa’s side on their first season back in the top tier.
