West Ham United boss David Moyes has told Football London that Michail Antonio is absolutely fine, ahead of his side’s game against Aston Villa tomorrow.
Moyes said that West Ham had suffered with a couple of niggles in the build up to the game.
But Antonio is not thought to be one of the players carrying any sort of knock, with Moyes pleased with the progress that the £7 million man (Daily Mail) has made since his comeback from injury.
“He’s fine,” Moyes said. “He’s doing really well since his injury.”
The news that Antonio is absolutely fine to play has to be considered a major positive for West Ham.
With the Hammers failing to sign a striker, the pressure is on Antonio to stay off the treatment table until the end of the season now.

West Ham have very few other options up-front, if Antonio does suffer with injury, and there are fears that if the 30-year-old picks up a problem it could really dent their progress.
West Ham are currently sat in fifth place in the Premier League table, but did lose their last match against Liverpool.
