Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son has said that Lucas Moura is even faster than him in an interview with the Premier League’s official Youtube channel.
Tottenham have built in attack which is blessed with plenty of rapid players.
But when asked who the quickest player in Tottenham’s squad was, Son was convinced that Lucas should take that title.
“I think Lucas,” he said. “I think Lucas is faster than me.”
Lucas may be more speedy than Son, but it is the South Korean who has been more effective this season.
Son sits right near the top of the Premier League’s scoring charts, with nine goals to his name already.
The Tottenham forward has thrived in a role which allows him the freedom to run in behind from out wide, with Harry Kane dropping deep.
Lucas, meanwhile, has been rotated in and out of Spurs’s starting line-up this campaign.
Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the Brazilian, but the arrival of Gareth Bale does seem to have knocked him down the pecking order somewhat.
