The Toffees duo have struck up a great partnership in recent weeks for the resurgent Premier League club.

Everton attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has spoken very highly of teammate Dominic Calvert-Lewin in wake of the superb attacking partnership the two have developed in recent weeks.
The 22-year-old centre-forward has come in leaps and bounds this season and has been crucial in the Toffees’ recent resurgence which included wins over Chelsea, West Ham, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Calvert-Lewin was especially impressive against the Red Devils, grabbing an assist and being a constant thorn in the opposition’s side as Everton emphatically ran out 4-0 winners over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s charges.
Signed by Everton from Sheffield United in 2016 for £1.6million, Calvert-Lewin is now valued by Transfermarkt at £13.5million as of 19 December 2018, testament to how far he’s come, but that value will most likely go up even further given how he’s faring in the second half of the campaign.
“Yeah, he’s fantastic,” Sigurdsson told the Liverpool Echo. “His physical ability is fantastic for such a good player. He’s got an incredible leap, I think he can jump as high as anyone!

“He’s fit and very strong, quick as well, and he makes it really hard for defenders to deal with him. He’s always learning, but he’s been playing really well over the past couple of months. Hopefully he can keep working hard, keep fit and stay in the side.”
Calvert-Lewin has made 36 appearances in all competitions for Everton this season, scoring eight goals and registering three assists, while in the Premier League specifically he has six goals and two assists, according to Transfermarkt.
Marco Silva’s charges currently sit seventh in the Premier League table.
