Tottenham fans have disagreed with Mauricio Pochettino’s comments after he boldly claimed that he and Brendan Rodgers ‘changed the mentality of English football’, as quoted by 90 Min.

Pochettino was sacked by Spurs back in November, only months after guiding them to the Champions League final.

Meanwhile, Rodgers, who won seven trophies with Celtic, missed out on finishing in the Champions League places with Leicester despite his side spending over 300 days in the top-four.

Whilst Pochettino did a very good job at Spurs, he left with zero trophies to his name, as Rodgers is also yet to win a domestic trophy in England.

As a result, Spurs fans think that their former manager is exaggerating somewhat by his comments and they found it laughable that he also included Rodgers into his claim.

Whilst Pochettino made an impact on Spurs, they are pretty stunned that the former Southampton boss thinks he made such an impact on English football.
