Emile Smith Rowe has revealed that a lot of people at Arsenal still talk about Serge Gnabry.
The Germany international has become a cautionary tale for management at the North London club due to how much he has improved since quitting the Gunners.
Gnabry left Arsenal in 2016 to join Werder Bremen on a permanent basis, but he looks to have found his calling in German football.
The 26-year-old, who famously failed to impress Tony Pulis during a loan at West Brom, is now a European Cup winner after firing Bayern Munich to the Champions League last season.
Not only that, but the red-hot winger played a huge role in the success by netting nine goals in 10 appearances in the competition – including scoring four away to Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
He has been a huge success since leaving the Emirates Stadium club under Arsene Wenger, and Smith Rowe, part of the next generation of Arsenal stars, has revealed that people still talk about him quite a bit at the club.
He told The Sun: “You can see how well he’s doing now and it just shows how you can come back from the setbacks you have. Everyone talks about him at Arsenal, how good he was. He’s definitely a player I look up to.”
