Trent Alexander-Arnold has picked Divock Origi over his Liverpool teammate, Sadio Mane, after being asked which one of those players he would rather dress like, as he told Sky Sports.

The Liverpool academy product added that Origi is a ‘cool guy’, who has a ‘decent style’ to his clothing game.

As cool as Origi seems in the fashion stakes, he has proven to showcase those same traits when stepping up in big moments for the Reds.

Not many regular starters across Europe have a legacy Origi is building and has built on Merseyside over the years.

The £10 million signing (BBC Sport) has never been a regular goalscorer for Liverpool, but his goals in Champions League finals and Merseyside derbies will be remembered for a very long time by supporters.

And this is what Alexander-Arnold had to say about his teammate when asked to pick between him and Mane.

“Would you rather dress like Mane or Origi? I would have to say Divock,” said Alexander-Arnold.

“He’s cool. He’s a cool guy. He has got a decent style, to be fair. It’s different to everyone else. But still good.”

It has been a big weekend of football for Manchester City because they have picked up maximum points, whilst those around them dropped points in the race for the title.

Liverpool recorded an enthralling 2-2 draw against Tottenham, whilst hours earlier on Sunday afternoon, Manchester City dispatched relegation-threatened Newcastle United at St James Park.

Chelsea, on the other hand, continue to falter because they were held to a goalless draw as Wolves, as they have gone from sitting top of the pile to now being six points behind the current holders.

After a meeting with Premier League clubs on Monday, the festive fixtures at the weekend and next week will go ahead, as reported by BBC Sport, which could prove to be significant in who goes into the New Year top of the tree.
