Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told Arsenal’s official website that Rob Holding has recovered from a head injury, which forced him off in their last game.
Holding won’t be available to feature for Arsenal tonight due to concussion rulings.
However, the central defender is now doing fine – which suggests that his absence will not be a long one.
Arteta also confirmed the news that Thomas Partey should be fit enough to feature against Benfica later this evening.
“Thomas is very close,” he said. “He’s got a final test today in training. If he’s feeling good, he will be available to play the match.
“Regarding Rob, he’s not available. He had a concussion, we tested him and he’s completely fine but obviously now we need to follow the protocols and he won’t be able to travel.”
Holding’s unavailability is a frustration for Arsenal, but they will feel they have the options to cope.

Pablo Mari, David Luiz or Gabriel could all be in with a chance of featuring this evening, in what looks like a huge game for Arsenal’s season.
If Partey can make it back then Arsenal’s chances of winning will surely be greatly increased.
The Gunners go into the game with the scores locked at 1-1 on aggregate, but after creating so many chances in the first-leg they will surely feel confident of progressing, if they can finish more ruthlessly.
