Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing footage of James Balagizi playing against Leeds in an Under-18 clash.

Impressively, the 17-year-old ran riot against the Whites, grabbing one assist in the 6-1 win while making a number of other chances for his teammates.

Sadly, he missed a penalty, but that shouldn’t take anything away from what was a fantastic performance from the teenager.

It’s safe to say the 1-cap England Under-18 international left the Liverpool fans on Twitter impressed with his latest display.

One supporter likened him to Philippe Coutinho after watching the footage, while another compared him to Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.

Another said Balagizi reminds them of Ovie Ejaria, who used to play for Liverpool – he’s now tearing up the Championship with Reading.

In 14 Under-18 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season, the attacking midfielder has registered seven assists, which isn’t bad at all.

Jürgen Klopp has already shown that he’s more than happy to play the youngsters if he thinks they’re good enough.
