Harry Redknapp has said that Tottenham Hotspur goalscorer Harry Kane could pick Chelsea as his next transfer destination.
The 29-year-old is yet to sign a contract extension with his boyhood club, as his current deal expires in 2024.
As question marks surround whether Harry Kane will stay at Tottenham Hotspur or leave, Harry Redknapp has provided a strong hint that a transfer to Chelsea may be on his mind.
Harry Redknapp hints Harry Kane could opt for Chelsea transfer
Both fans and pundits alike are keen on witnessing the England captain leave Spurs, as it is widely believed that a player of his quality deserves to win silverware.
It is dare due to the lack of trophies in Kane’s cabinet that even Tony Cascarino said that he is still ‘underrated’ on talkSPORT, as his incredible displays are dismissed due to his failure to become a champion.
As Harry Kane turns 30 this year and has the option of leaving Tottenham in the summer, Harry Redknapp has hinted that he could be eyeing a transfer to Chelsea.

“It will be interesting if Pochettino goes to Chelsea. That wouldn’t go down well with the Tottenham fans at all that’s for sure. It’s a great move for him and I think he’s [Harry Kane] building a house in that area.”
“He’s a family man and he’d be happier not moving to the north of England or wherever he’d have to go”, he said on the Beyond The Pitch podcast.
Tottenham fans will despise him forever if he makes the move
As much as the animosity between Spurs and Arsenal is documented, the hostility between them and the Blues is perhaps as intense, if not more.
If the suggestion made by Harry Redknapp is proven right and Harry Kane does in fact leave Tottenham to join Chelsea in a summer transfer, he will be looked at as a traitor by his own adoring fans.
Whether Kane is ready for that to be his legacy in N17 is the question, as despite Sol Campbell’s incredible quality, even he is seen as a villain at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to his controversial move to Arsenal.
That is simply a cardinal sin in football.
