According to Ben Jacobs, Liverpool are now interested in a move for Wolves defender Max Kilman.
Liverpool could do with adding a new centre-back to their ranks after the recent decline in standard shown by the likes of Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk, and it seems as though Kilman is one they’re keen on.
Kilman has been performing well for Wolves for quite some time now, but don’t just take our word for it, the centre-back has received praise from former Liverpool player and current Everton star Conor Coady in the past.

Coady a fan of Kilman
The England international has spoken highly of Kilman in the past.
“Max has been with us for years. He trains with us every single day, he knows the role inside out, he’s a fantastic lad and a brilliant professional as well,” Coady told Wolves’ official website after a win against Fulham.
“I thought he was outstanding, but I would expect nothing else from him. He’s brilliant to have around and is a brilliant professional.”
Seal of approval
Coady may not be the most well-regarded of former Liverpool players, but if he says Kilman is a fantastic player, then he must have something about him.
Indeed Coady is a player who knows a thing or two about what it takes to be a top player. He’s meant to be one of the standard-bearers in the England squad, and to him attitude is everything.
If he says that Kilman has the right mentality, then he has what it takes to be a success.
Of course, whether or not he does move to Liverpool remains to be seen, but don’t be surprised if he finds anotehr gear if he does move to Anfield.
