Paul Robinson has praised Bristol City playmaker Alex Scott, who is ‘one of the best’ players in the Championship, amid ‘big-money links with West Ham United and Wolves’.
The former England goalkeeper praised the quality Alex Scott has at his feet and how a move to the Premier League is on the cards.
The 19-year-old has been likened to Jack Grealish given his ball-carrying ability and the fact that he likes to wear low socks like the £100 million Manchester City man.

During Bristol City’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester City, Alex Scott had the chance to shine against one of the best teams in Europe and he left the pitch with his head held high.
It seems unlikely that Nigel Pearson will guide his team to a top-six finish this season and a promotion push, which would then open the door for teams in the Premier League to try and nab one of the Championship’s top talents in the summer.
Paul Robinson dropped West Ham and Wolves’ names into the hat when talking about Scott’s quality and his future at Ashton Gate, as he told Sky Sports News.
“I think Scott is direct,” said Robinson. “He is always a threat. He is a goal threat and, at 19, he plays with a carefree attitude.
“He has got fantastic vision. He can see pass, but also create and score a goal. I think that’s the last bit of his game that he needs to get to.
“He has been linked with big-money moves to Wolves and West Ham. They are talking about £20 million for him. But it’s that ability to provide.
“For me, he is one of the best players at the Championship, at the moment.”

ALEX SCOTT IS READY FOR THE STEP UP
The Championship has seen many top talents grace its field and then go on to cook on the Premier League stage.
Whether it has been top-quality loan players such as Mason Mount or unexpected stars such as Harry Kane, even someone like Jude Bellingham who is thriving with Dortmund in Germany.
Alex Scott is ready for that step up, it’s just a case of picking the right club for the midfielder to shine.
