Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Michail Antonio has been discussing Declan Rice’s future amid links to Arsenal.
Antonio is well aware of the speculation around his captain’s future, noting that he’s seen the links to the likes of Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Chelsea.
Interestingly, Antonio said that Rice deserves to play for one of the aforementioned sides, claiming that the midfielder has the talent to turn out for any of the Premier League’s top clubs.

Rice good enough for Arsenal
Antonio spoke highly of his captain.
“He’s been linked everywhere. Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Chelsea. He’s a quality player and he deserves to be in one of those teams. He’ll be linked with everyone and it’ll be whatever happens. Anything can happen and he can end up anywhere, because he could play for any of those teams,” Antonio said.
Where will he go?
Antonio is absolutely right, Rice is good enough to play for any of the top teams in the Premier League, but where will he go?
Of course, it remains to be seen where he will end up, but given that Arsenal have made him their top target for the summer and the fact that the Gunners are top of the league, it’s not difficult to imagine him heading to the Emirates.
Of course, a lot can change between now and the summer and Rice could even end up staying at West Ham, but we are certainly heading into a summer of speculation about Rice.
It will certainly be interesting to watch what will happen with the midfielder in the next few months.
