
Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ainsley Maitland-Niles against Watford at the Emirates Stadium today.
What’s the story?
Arsenal took on Watford at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.
The Gunners won the match 1-0.
Emile Smith Rowe found the back of the net in the 56th minute.
Maitland-Niles started the match for Arsenal.
In midfield.
And he was superb.
The 24-year-old imposed himself in the middle of the park, protected the Arsenal back-line well, made some good challenges and interceptions, and also tried to drive the team forward.
The midfielder took one shot which was not on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 85.3%, won one header, took 48 touches, attempted one dribble, and made five tackles, two intercessions and two clearances.

What are Arsenal fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans were impressed by the display produced by Maitland-Niles.
Well, some of them anyway.
It was a very impressive display from the England international.
And now it will be interesting to see if Maitland-Niles is able to keep his place in the Arsenal team after the two-week international break.
