Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s 3-1 win over Burton Albion yesterday, and singled out Benik Afobe for praise after the striker made it four goals in his last four appearances, as quoted by the Express & Star.

The Black Country outfit cemented their place at the top of the Championship table after yesterday’s victory, and now sit 13 points clear of third placed Fulham.

Afobe has really found his feet in recent weeks, after struggling for form and confidence during his first month at the club.

The 25-year-old scored Wolves’ second and third goals yesterday, and he has now racked up four strikes in nine outings for Nuno’s side this season.

The Portuguese singled out Afobe for praise in the aftermath of his side’s 3-1 win yesterday, suggesting that the striker is now getting back to his best, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“Benik is getting to his best now – like the team. Today it was him, before it was Diogo Jota, Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro, Morgan Gibbs-White…all these players are important. All the things we’re doing with them is focused on building a team.”

Next up for Wolves is a trip to in-form Middlesbrough on March 30th, and a win at the Riverside would all but seal their promotion back to the Premier League.
