Andy Robertson has tweeted a picture of himself and Trent Alexander-Arnold back training together as the full-back stepped up his recovery from injury.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Alexander-Arnold was back training with the first-team after his calf injury that saw him miss four matches.

Fortunately, the full-back is fit enough to be back training, and he’s been reunited with his close friend Robertson on the training ground.

It’s great to see Robertson and Alexander-Arnold back together after so long apart.

The duo have become one of the best full-back pairings the Premier League has ever seen, and they’ve become the best of friends off the pitch, even earning their own mini-series on IGTV in recent weeks.

Hopefully, Trent is back fit to face Wolves on Sunday, and if he is back for that game, don’t be surprised to see a solid performance from Robertson as his confidence will surely grow when Alexander-Arnold is back on the pitch alongside him.

Liverpool’s injury problems have thrown a spanner in the works for them this season, but it seems as though things are slowly but surely getting better for the Anfield outfit on that front.
