Leeds United’s Eunan O’Kane and Liam Cooper were guests on BBC Radio Leeds last night, and answered a range of questions on their teammates.

The duo were speaking just 24 hours after the team’s stunning penalty shootout win over Burnley, and the pair stated that spot kicks had not been practised ahead of the match.

They were asked who the ‘hardest player’ at Leeds was, and both instantly stated that it was Gaetano Berardi.

O’Kane said that Berardi’s aggressive persona carried through into training, but was not evident off the pitch.

He said: “In training I want him on my team first, I won’t get kicked. He’s the same person [as in matches].

“He’s actually quite a nice guy off the pitch.”

The pair were also asked who the least intelligent was, and both replied that it was Ronaldo Vieira, before O’Kane added that ‘one of the pair who left for Burnley’ would previously have been his answer.

They went on to add that head coach Thomas Christiansen rarely raises his voice behind the scenes.

Liam Cooper said: “He is a calming influence behind the scenes and that rubs off.”

The duo added that Christiansen keeps them guessing before the games with O’Kane stating: “We don’t know who’s playing until hours before kick-off, and it’s working.”
