Joe Hart has been singing the praises of Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane.
The 28-year-old striker has been Spurs’ most important player for the last seven years due to his frightening goal return.
This season, Kane has netted 22 goals for Tottenham across all competitions.
But he’s becoming a lot more than just a prolific goalscorer.
As the victory over West Ham United before the international break proved, the Lilywhites attacker can also be a masterful creator of chances for Antonio Conte’s outfit.
In addition to his goals, Kane also has six assists for Tottenham this season.
And Joe Hart, who spent the 2020-21 campaign with Kane at Hotspur Way, claims that his former teammate is ‘actually perfect’, describing him as a ‘lunatic’ in football terms.
He said to the In the Stiffs podcast: “This lunatic is still improving. He’s still getting better because of his mentality and work-ethic. He’s a phenom. Some people when they have good days they’re unplayable. When he has a good day he’s actually perfect.”
Perfection?
Well at this stage it’s getting to the point where it’s difficult to see what Kane cannot do as an attacking player.
The fact that he’s such a scary goalscorer in terms of volume, and capable of playing an eye-of-the-needle pass, well they just don’t come more complete than the Tottenham superstar right now.
And Hart is right – he can still get better.
Remember, this is a player who’s still only 28.

And with speed not being a massive part of his game, losing a yard or two over time won’t render him ineffective in the Premier League like it did, say, a Michael Owen.
Kane has many more years left in the tank and it’s fascinating to see what he does with them.
