It’s no secret that Kieran Tierney is probably the toughest player in this Arsenal squad.
Throughout these winter months, the Scot has been turning up to training in the bare minimum – shorts, short-sleeved training top, socks and boots despite the cold weather.
But Tierney took this minamilism to new heights at London Colney on Sunday.
Snow blanketed the pitches at Arsenal’s training ground on what was a bitterly cold day – but despite the plummeting temperatures, the former Celtic left-back still saw no need to wrap up.
This is an example as to why the 23-year-old is such a hugely-popular player among Gunners fans – that and of course the fact that he happens to be an absolutely brilliant footballer – and here’s how some supporters reacted to photos of Tierney today:
Arsenal are back in action in the Premier League with another trip to Southampton – who knocked them out of the FA Cup yesterday – on Tuesday.
Tierney and a number of senior players were rested by Mikel Arteta, but the Spaniard would be wise to recall Tierney against the Saints next week.
