Raheem Sterling has raved about reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham.
EuroSport say that Liverpool are watching the Borussia Dortmund midfielder amid the summer transfer window opening.
Bellingham has caught the eye of all observers since his move to the Bundesliga, where he has thrived at the very top level.
And Sterling, who has linked up with the reported Liverpool target for England in recent weeks, says that he has been blown away by his ability already.
“Jude, I said to him just before he’s 17 going on 28. He’s so mature for his age, not just on the field but off the field, the way he carries himself and the way he speaks,” he said.
“It’s a real nice thing to see him come on. Not to come on just to make history, he really deserves to be here.
“He has shown that with his performances at club level, in the Champions League.
“He’s a top player now, so only God knows what he’ll be become in the future. I’m really glad he’s English.”

Bellingham to Liverpool?
Sterling’s words just further highlight Bellingham’s level of ability.
The youngster is rapidly becoming regarded as one of the finest English midfield talents in a long time.
If he was brought to Liverpool he would form part of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield for well over the next decade.
However, affording any transfer could be difficult for the Reds, who do not have the spending power of some of their Premier League rivals.
Bellingham could next be in action for England on Friday night, when they take on Scotland.
