Speaking on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Whites legend Tony Dorigo has been waxing-lyrical about Raphinha.
Fans are back at Elland Road, and Dorigo knows better than most what it’s like to play in front of a packed-out crowd in west Yorkshire.
Dorigo claims that Raphinha is going to flourish in front of a crowd, and we saw a bit of that this weekend with his goal against Everton.

“I said it before the game about Raphinha, this is going to be his moment. He’s a player, and he is an entertainer, so there with the fans behind him, of course, he had to score a great equaliser,” Dorigo said.

Raphinha had a year of showing everyone how talented he is in an empty stadium, and now he finally has the chance to strut his stuff in front of a crowd.
The Brazilian is a player who plays with so much passion and aggression, and it’s hard to believe that he won’t be able to step up a gear with fans in the ground, especially with Leeds fans being notoriously raucous.
Raphinha should shine once again this term, and we’re absolutely certain that he’ll be a fan favourite amongst the Elland Road faithful.
