Speaking on the Gaffer YouTube channel, Emile Smith Rowe has been waxing-lyrical about Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones.
The Arsenal star of course knows Jones from the youth ranks with England, and he says that he’s a joke of a footballer.

Smith Rowe was asked if there were any players he’d come up against who he doesn’t think are spoken about enough or don’t get the credit they deserve, and he said Jones was the one.
“It’s a tough one, Curtis Jones, obviously he’s talked about a lot, but I went to the U21 Euros with him and he’s a joke, he’s a joke,” Smith Rowe said.
Not for long
Jones may be flying under a few people’s radars at the moment, but that surely won’t be the case for very long.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp has got big plans for Jones next season, and if reports are to be believed, we may see a lot more of the 20-year-old going forward.
If Jones is handed more of an opportunity to shine, then surely it won’t be long before he is recognised as one of the most talented young players in this country.
Smith Rowe is absolutely right about the talent Jones possesses, and it may just be a matter of time before he shows that to the world on a weekly basis.
Liverpool have a gem on their hands with Jones.
