Tottenham star Harry Kane has missed pre-season training for the second day in a row.
According to Football London, the striker failed to show up after skipping his planned return to Hotspur Way. Kane was due to return to the training ground on Monday.
As reported by the Athletic, Kane is eager to push for a move to Manchester City this summer. However, the club are digging in their heels to keep the striker at Spurs this window.
Moreover, as per the report, there is a sense from some figures at City that Kane could never return to Spurs again or even play for his boyhood club.
Kane has three years left on his current deal with Tottenham, yet him skipping training is the clearest indication yet that the striker is eager to move on this window.
Indeed, Daniel Levy will be desperate to retain the striker, who Manchester City view as their top attacking priority this window. Pep Guardiola’s side are keen to find a replacement for Sergio Aguero.
