The striker helped West Ham United to take a point against Bournemouth.

Javier Hernandez has been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham United during this month’s transfer window, but the forward’s contribution in the draw at home to Bournemouth at the weekend indicates that he should be kept until the summer at least.
Hernandez has struggled to settle at West Ham following his switch from Bayer Leverkusen but he has still produced some encouraging displays at times and one of those came against Bournemouth at London Stadium as he found the net in the 73rd minute to quickly equalise for West Ham after Ryan Fraser had given the visitors the lead.

With his clever movement and determination in front of goal, Hernandez is still capable of making a major impact for West Ham if David Moyes can manage to get the best out of him.
Hernandez has mustered just five goals in 18 league appearances this season, but if he remained at West Ham and played regularly he could certainly help their cause as they look to stay up.

There remains much speculation about Hernandez’s future, with Besiktas eager to sign him, as reported by The Sun.
It is questionable, though, whether letting Hernandez leave would be the right move as the Mexican is still capable of making a contribution for West Ham.
