West Ham United signed Jordan Hugill in the January transfer window.
The Hammers signed 25-year-old striker Hugill from Championship club Preston North End in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £10 million.
“He is a very good football player,” Hernandez told The Mirror about Hugill. “He is confident and I understand his feelings.
“He has come to a Premier League club, so he is ambitious. He is very happy. He has transmitted that and, hopefully, can have a good career.”
Hope and optimism
Hernandez seems to rate his new teammate Hugill highly, and the West Ham fans should be optimistic.

Hugill has been a success in the Championship, and Hernandez’s comments suggest that he has what to takes to establish himself in the Premier League.
Perhaps next season the former Preston star could even become the first-choice striker at West Ham or form a partnership with Hernandez.
It could take Hugill a while to settle into life at West Ham and in the Premier League, but he needs the backing of the fans.
The striker could even chip in with some important goals between now and the end of the season for West Ham.
