Birmingham City are said to be keen to bring in Pablo Hernandez from Leeds United when his contract expires.

Pablo Hernandez’s comments when Garry Monk left Leeds United may suggest that a move to Birmingham City in the summer could appeal.
Monk has worked with Hernandez at both Swansea City and Leeds, and the Daily Mirror have suggested that he now wants a third reunion with the Spaniard.
Birmingham are set to move for the attacking midfielder, with his future at Leeds still not certain.

Hernandez’s contract at Elland Road is set to expire at the end of the campaign, and although he has previously suggested he wants to stay, he has still not penned new terms.
Birmingham could now swoop, if they manage to stay in the Championship, according to the Sunday Mirror [March 18th, page 65].
And a switch to work with Monk again could be an exciting prospect for Hernandez, as he admitted that the manager’s departure from Elland Road was not good news for him just six months ago.
“Yes it’s true I arrive here because Garry called me, but it’s football, there is continuous change,” he said to LUTV.

“It was not good for me when he left but I know I have a contract and I’m very happy to continue with the new gaffer.”
Hernandez has continued to perform for Leeds this season, but he has now played under two different mangers.
And if Birmingham do come in for Hernandez, Leeds fans may have to be concerned, as he is clearly a fan of Monk’s management style.
