Leeds United are said to be trying to snap up Stephy Mavididi from Juventus this summer.
Mavididi has been with Juve for a year now, and he has regularly trained with the first-team.
The Leeds transfer target has had the opportunity to practice alongside Ronaldo.
And the striker claims he has learnt a lot from training alongside one of the world’s best ever players.
“The way he goes about his business was incredible for me to watch,” Mavididi said to BBC Sport. “How he applies himself every day in the gym and on the pitch. How he looks after his body, his diet – mainly off-the-pitch stuff. Everyone knows what he can do on the pitch, but off the pitch is what keeps him going.”
If Leeds are to sign Mavididi they will need to hope that what he has learnt from Ronaldo has rubbed off on him.
Mavididi’s other spells in English football are very unremarkable, with the youngster having scored just two goals in 27 senior appearances.
Mavididi has been given the chance to play for Juve’s first team though, so it is clear that he must have a good level of talent.
If Leeds were to get Mavididi it would be an intriguing signing, as he is reaching an age where he needs to start getting regular football.
And Leeds will hope that his year in Italy has done wonders for his development as a player.
