Arsenal fans on Twitter think their chances of signing Achraf Hakimi have now increased after Antonio Conte left Inter Milan.
The ex-Chelsea boss has opted to leave the Serie A champions and the Arsenal supporters cannot see a better opportunity than to nab one of their talented stars.
AS have previously reported that Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Hakimi and he would like the 22-year-old at Arsenal as soon as possible.
Well, Conte leaving Inter certainly changes things in Italy and, at the very least, increases Arsenal chances of any deal happening even if it’s still unlikely.
It has certainly got the Arsenal faithful excited, who would like their owners to show the ambition to now secure Hakimi’s talents.
It doesn’t help Arsenal’s cause that they don’t have any European football to try and lure these top talents to North London.
Plus, the news that Conte has left will be filtering elsewhere and other clubs will also be looking to take advantage of that also.
If Hakimi if fancied at Arsenal then he will surely be liked elsewhere as well, so those at the Emirates better get a move on then.
